Tony Gaal is TV and movie scriptwriter, dramaturg, author, writer and copywriter. He was born in Kosice, Slovakia in 1976 and have studied Scriptwriting and Dramaturgy at Film and Television Faculty on the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava, Slovakia.

He worked as main scriptwriter and author for number of TV series and shows (Family secrets (Rodinné tajomstvá), Pop Idol Slovakia (Slovensko hľadá Superstar), Infidelity in the Slovak Way (Nevera po slovensky), Criminal police: Angel (Kriminálka Anděl) a.o.) for home and foreign TVs and production companies. Tony also writes for theatre, magazines, media, and advertising and has created many successful TV commercials and advertising campaigns.

Tony Gaal was awarded in various Slovak and international literary and scriptwriting awards and competitions (Tibor Vichta Award, Karel Zeman Award and others).
